The beauty of Pilates is that it works for anyone, regardless of age or fitness level. This class is an easier pace and for anyone who has had recent surgery or has pathologies such as arthritis or osteoporosis or anyone who just wants to take it easy.
If you have a more complex condition and have been advised to do Pilates by your medical professional we would suggest taking a private class with us first where we can give you a full assessment before starting a class.
PILATES gentle will still give you a good workout but focus on sympathetic support, encouragement, and reassurance.
Are these classes suitable for Older Age
This session also works very well for older adults, although we do need clients to be able to get down and up from the floor unassisted. If this is difficult we offer chair Pilates.
