WHAT ARE HYPOPRESSIVES ?  

Hypopressives are a gentle, yet powerful, whole-body exercise practice that focus on postural alignment, breathwork, postures and movements. They are a modern, proven approach to pelvic floor and core rehabilitation. Widely used in many other European countries, to heal and prevent core and pelvic floor dysfunctionand to enhance sports performance.

Through specific breathing patterns, postures and movements, Hypopressives help re- train your deep core muscles and pelvic floor function, improve posture, and reduce symptoms such as leaking, prolapse, or back pain. It’s a calm yet powerful practice that works from the inside out, helping you move with confidence and strength.

This approach can:

  • improve posture

  • reduce back pain

  • create a slimmer more toned waist

HYPOPRESSIVES WORKSHOP

Get ready to kick start your pelvic floor and core healing journey with our introductory Hypopressives workshop. This revolutionary exercise practice is an incredible way to create optimal function of your core and pelvic floor.

Hypopressives are proven to heal and prevent leaking, prolapse, and diastasis recti (ab separation). They’re a beautiful practice to support all of us, but particularly beneficial to support postnatal healing (no matter how long ago you were pregnant), perimenopause symptoms, menopause and for all who want to remain strong, supported and able to tackle the challenges life throws at us!

In this workshop, you will learn the unique breathwork, some poses, and a short flow to jump start your healing journey. This flow is then all yours to be practiced at home whenever you’d like and you will get follow up videos to support your future practice at home. We will learn about how to support your pelvic floor and core in a fun, relaxing and modern way…don’t worry, it’s not Kegels! Following this, you will be able to join our 1:1 Programmes or Intermediate classes. It will be relaxed and informal and don’t worry, there are no expectations for you to have any level of fitness or know anything about Hypopressives before you come.
