Background:

Stretch Therapy is a safe and highly effective approach to improving flexibility, mobility, strength, and ease of movement in everyday life. Practised by athletes, coaches, yoga teachers, fitness professionals, dancers, and people of all abilities around the world, it offers practical techniques for moving with greater comfort and confidence. In this workshop, you’ll be introduced to a range of unique Stretch Therapy exercises to begin your journey.

The workshop is led by Lisa Perry, an experienced Stretch Therapy teacher based in Cheltenham.

Lisa Perry first discovered Stretch Therapy in 2002 and has since become a passionate advocate for the method. She has integrated the principles of Stretch Therapy into the various classes she teaches, while her longer workshops focus exclusively on Stretch Therapy. Lisa believes it is an exceptional practice for developing strength, flexibility, and mobility. Her workshops emphasise the principle of “staying relaxed while under tension,” helping students build resilience, body awareness, and lasting freedom of movement.
