PILATES   Mixed Ability

In practicing Pilates you are making a decision to care for your well-being, body, and mind. Enhancing everything you do.

Pilates is a low impact conditioning exercise that anybody can do. 

Pilates works to restore the natural curves of the spine and rebalance the muscles around the joints. Placing more emphasis on pelvic and scapular stabilisation, and integration of all the parts of the body into one.

The goal is to deliver a class that will improve and build stability and control.

Pilates really does transform poor posture. It re-educates the body so the right muscles are doing the right job!


Are these classes suitable for beginners?

Yes. Classes are taught with a maximum of six people so we will be able build a good foundation within these classes. 

Why choose a mixed ability class

Giving you alternative levels to meet you where you are in your practice.  If you want to work with more challenging levels on a particular day you can, whilst in the same way you can take it easier if you have had a tough week.

Who is Pilates for?

Particularly successful with rehabilitation, but equally great for those wanting to improve spinal, joint and peripheral mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and muscular flexibility. Pilates workouts added to TRX, HIIT or Bootcamp can add a well-rounded fitness.
