Pilates chair

In chair pilates, we use simple pilates, yoga and general physio exercises to mobilise and strengthen our bodies.

This class will be a game-changer, it’s never too late to try exercise and Chair is a great place to start. You can expect to increase your range of movement over time, to ease back-pain, to feel physically and mentally stronger, as you are able to move better and with confidence. We practice balancing, with the help of our trusty chair and sometimes we might use resistance bands or tinned beans as weights. You’ll become more aware of improving your posture in everyday activities and you will also learn how to breathe fully and all the benefits this has to offer. Chair Pilates

A class for those less mobile, wanting all the benefits of pilates, without having to get up and down off the floor.

Everybody varies in their range of movement. Don’t worry, we can adapt exercises and give alternatives as we go along.
