Enjoy moving with your body in a safe and gentle way, quieten the mind and let your body resolve patterns of tension to reveal a more harmonious sense of well being.

Promotes relaxation, reduces stress and improves mental clarity. May help to improve mood, your confidence and relieve anxiety and depression.

Suitable for all bodies

Seated yoga is suitable for all regardless of ability, age or experience. It is particularly suitable for those with injuries, impaired mobility or chronic conditions where prolonged standing or getting up and down off the floor is difficult.

Chair yoga helps your body gain strength, balance and flexibility, thus reducing your chances of falling and providing you with self confidence when completing everyday tasks. It may help with decreasing blood pressure, inflammation and chronic pain.

Aside from the physical benefits, seated yoga is great for your mental health as well and can affect areas of your life that you may not have anticipated. For example the mindful movements when combined with beathing exercises and meditation have been known to create a more positive outlook on life which in turn may reduce stress and anxiety and improve sleep, creating a mind-body experience
